Children’s wear – 18 sites
For this article, I wanted to let you discover the world of children’s fashion.
This is an area which offers great freedom graphic. I have listed several sites of interest during my research.
I have divided into several categories:
- The “Graphics” for their original idea and design,
- “Nice” for sobriety and high-end side
- “I also like” sites more basic, but with little touches that I found the original graphic.
The “Graphics”
Absorba:
The site takes us on a child’s universe, a bit vintage. The theme is perfectly respected and sounds of the site are only strengthen it.
Photographs are treated way back, enhanced with color to energize overall.
Technically, the site is mixed: a mixture of Flash and JavaScript.
Lili Gaufrette:
The design is simple but works well. The photographs surrounded by a white border and small dots give the impression of sliced images. The site is entirely in Flash. On the side of the information, products are somewhat detailed: no zoom on the articles, or price. The site reflects the clothing line: chic, fashionable and timeless.
Stealth:
Elements of this site are presented as boxes. The box comes alive and reveals a different scene for each section. The idea is very good, the site is fun. Flash games are also available (but the first does not work).
The product catalogs are original, but without pricing information. There is no zoom on products.
The cat’s tail:
My favorite heart! If you have little ones, visit this site with them.
The universe is a breeze with balloons and funny animals. The site is also interesting for its articles in organic cotton and fair trade principle.
The “smart”
Alice in Paris:
The shop is simple and elegant. The clothes are beautifully presented. Prices appear to fly.
The site gives an impression of small Parisian boutique and upscale, yet affordable items.
This site is created in JavaScript.
Marese:
This Flash site has a simple design and strict enough. Here the universe is not childish, the target is indeed the parents.
The online store is under construction, only the catalog is available.
Chipie:
The site is devoted to women’s fashion for little girls, adolescents and women.
The design is pretty sleek. The logo in the center of the page is also a menu.
Each entry is represented by three different atmospheres: type materials for Jean’s children, more urban teen, trendy and chic for women.
The site is in Flash.
3pommes:
The site is simple, the photographs give children a spirit of “little rebel” fashion trend.
There is little information on the clothes and prices. A making a photo shoot-off is available in video form.
The site is in Flash.
Tartine et Chocolat
“It was a time” … this well-behaved children.
This simple design with a handwritten typography seems to plunge us into a county child when the world is beautiful and Gentillet. There’s no information on pricing, but it identifies a range chic and upscale.
Bonpoint:
It remains in the upscale and the site really looks: sleek and chic.
The product range extends from birth to maternity wear.
The clothes are presented in the original form of matched sets. Children seem demanding with bubbles “I want” integrated into the catalog.
The site of the house Bonpoint is more original and fun with illustrations and animations. (Link at the bottom of the shop)
